"I chose Dutchess because it is local, and allowed me to continue to live at home and keep my job while saving money for a four-year school. Dutchess is a reputable community college that offers many courses – all of the ones I was looking for are offered here. DCC's staff and professors are extremely helpful, with great office hours and a willingness to help their students succeed. There are so many opportunities to get help – and I never felt behind in any of my classes. I think the campus is beautiful. There are so many places to sit down and study, chat with friends, or seek help from tutors or professors."
